Rhodia Romania is selling chemical specialty products imported from Mother Company. “We have an eight person commercial team, a warehouse in Bucharest and a few others in our main customers and distributors,” said Ionescu.
“We needed specific reports consolidated in different currencies and we had to make manual or automatic repartitions using some criteria for common costs on different cost centers.
“Epicor iScala is a good solution for small and medium enterprises, flexible, easy to maintain if the initial settings were correctly done,” Ionescu commented.
The system is relatively easy to use once the users are very well trained. The system has generated an increase in efficiency by improving access to information and improving account keeping.
Ionescu added, “What our customers certainly notice is a different account schedule when we try to check the payments with them.
“The implementation was done four years ago and it wasn’t easy, but we have in the meantime successfully passed a few upgrades.”
“The service has improved each year with Epicor Scala. At present, our system is stable and we haven’t had to use the Epicor Scala support team for quite a long time (more than a year),” Ionescu concluded.
